Event Description:
The 3rd Annual Farmville Wine Festival (FWF), a benefit for Meals on Wheels (MOW), will be held on Saturday, April 21, 11 am - 5 pm at Riverside Park. In the event of bad weather, the festival will be held inside at Fuqua School. Tickets are $15 advance; $20/gate. Even though this is a wine tasting event, we offer a reduced-price ticket ($10) for non-tasters and ages 10-20. Children under 10 get in free. This year’s FWF promises to be bigger & better than ever before! Twelve great Virginia wineries, twenty artisans & crafters and four food vendors offer a wide variety of choices for every taste. CENTRA Southside Community Hospital sponsors the Performance Stage, featuring live jazz, instrumental & vocal, entertainment courtesy of Longwood University musicians. No pets, please. So bring a chair, some friends and spend the day at the Farmville Wine Festival in historic downtown Farmville!

Meals on Wheels is a non-profit organization dedicatedto providing and delivering balanced, nutritional meals to elderly, disabled and home-bound adults of Prince Edward County. CENTRA Southside Community Hospital prepares the meals, and dedicated volunteers provide meal delivery service Monday through Friday. A 16-member Board of Directors serves as the governing body.
