The Artist, a 2011 French romantic comedy-drama that won the Best Picture Oscar last year, will be shown Wednesday, Nov. 14, at 7 p.m. in Wygal 204. This is part of the General Education Film Series. DVDs of the film will be available in the library afterward. The film, an homage of the silent film culture of the 1920s, focuses on the relationship of an older silent film star and a rising young actress as silent cinema falls out of fashion and are replaced by “talkies.”
