High Bridge Trail extends its summer programs to Saturday, September 22 as trail volunteer and Chesterfield County Science teacher, Michael Stange leads a Saturday afternoon walk and replanting program.  Get your hands dirty by creating native wildflower "seed bombs" to help native flower and trees species recover invaded habitat.  Mr. Stange will lead an educational walk, pointing out some of the plants and animals that call the trail home and how this former rail bed is being reclaimed by nature.  Please bring your own gloves and drinking water.  For more information contact the park office at 434-315-0457 or email highbridgetrail@dcr.virginia.gov
