Spring is right around the corner and with spring comes the YMCA's annual Healthy Kid's day. Healthy Kid's Day is a national YMCA event and is the nation's largest health day for children. This event is hosted by nearly fourteen hundred YMCA's and reaches more than 1.2 million children and parents.
This nationally recognized event will take place on Saturday April 30th, 2016 and will serve as a kick-off event for a sustained initiative for parents and kids to stay committed to staying healthy in mind, body and spirit all summer long. Healthy Kid's Day is part of the YMCA's promise to strengthen communities by supporting families in their efforts to teach healthy habits and keep kids active and learning, preparing them for a brighter future.
The Southside VA Family YMCA'S event will take place on Saturday April 30th, 2016 from 9am to 1 pm on the YMCA grounds. Admission to this event and all activities for all kids will have absolutely no cost.
