Meet Park Education Specialist, Bob Flippen, to embark on a walking tour of one of the four forts constructed to guard the approaches to High Bridge during the American Civil War. Learn about the Gallant Creoles of the Donaldsonville 43rd Louisiana Cannoneers who trained the old men and boys who were charged with defending High Bridge, in the use of field artillery. Also hear why they coined the moniker "Camp Paradise".
