Name: Many Homes, One Community: The State of Housing in Southside Virginia
Date: October 1, 2012
Time: 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM EDT
Event Description:

On this year’s World Habitat Day, we will honor our theme of “Many Homes, One Community” to highlight the vital role that decent, affordable housing plays in community stabilization and development and to focus on the importance of homeownership in a neighborhood’s progress. We hope that you can join us to address the participants about the housing crisis in our community. This forum is taking place in recognition of an annual grassroots initiative, World Habitat Day, that focuses on the need to address decent housing around the world, including in Prince Edward, Buckingham, Charlotte, and Cumberland Counties.
