This talk will explore the 'Comic Book Scare' of the 1950's (mostly centered around Dr. Frederic Wertham's book Seduction of the Innocent and his allegations of comics contributing to juvenile delinquency) and how comics have become closer than any medium to having content dictated by the federal government.
